that is cool.... Nice panels... I would suggest that if she doesn't like it, just get some different material...

I did this... and thought they looked pretty cool... I do get compliments..

Ok, guys(and Rico's wife) she knew I was doing it and she picked out the material which blends in nice with the accent wall. She didnt want the 4'' panels behind the speakers but was ok with 2'' panels (I went with the 4'') I told her I would just put them on the floor and we would remove them when we had company but I went ahead and mounted them.

She is pulling up. wish me luck!

Well that was easy. She said she really likes them and then she said "get that one out of my window".

I will give you guys a little review of the panels and the Ready Acoustic frames a little bit later.

Oh....she also said that I am done buying AV gear...

Are the two big ones you made a kit or did you just buy the frames. What are inside of them?

I made all of them out of #8 mineral board. The two side ones have 1x2 wood frames inside the fabric and the two behind the speakers have 2 sheets of mineral board glued together and I used Ready Acoustic frames that are 34 bucks each. The 6 sheets of mineral cost $34 too and I got all the fabric for 12 bucks.

It looks good. I like it. But you had to know the thing in the window wasn't going to work.
