My problem is with in the center channel.
there must be a reflection somewere because when ever i watch a dvd movie or vhs movie some movie dialogs seems low and my sound effects are high.
then i have to turn my volume down when the sound effects are playing.
i'am new to this acoustic treatment.
first i'll tell u what i have.
my bedroom is 10x12 also we have wood floor but we put in carpet over it.
right side of the room is a window and left side is another window with heavy drapes.
behine my tv there's a blank wall. also the back wall.
so what is causeing this reflection of my center channel? i would like to hear loud rich sound with turning up and down of the volume to hear the dialog.
can anyone help me out? kinda new to this acoustic treatment . thanks in advance.

Some of this (maybe all) is due to bad mixing levels on certain movies. I too have had the ocassional low center where the dialog seems low/sound effects high. I just boost the center volume a bit on the receiver and then turn the overall volume down to level it out.

What's this? Is this the trim pot setting for each channel?
Where is the rear speaker setting?
How did you level match the channels?
