Hi!I am going to buy speakers for my Denon avr 4311 ci and I can't decide which of these two spekers is the most appropriate to combine with.

Acoustic energy Aelite three or

Dali ikon 6 mk2 ?

*The price is almost the same between those two..

Doesn't anyone have something to say?

The problem is that I live in a small village and the nearest shop that has those speakers (to listen them) is far away.In other words distance is the problem. So I just want to read some thoughts,or complains if there exist,to create a first impression...Then I will decide what I am going to do..

From what I have read through internet,I have concluded that Dali is better because:

1) Dali Ikon 6 MK2 has EISA (very important!) and What Hi-Fi award

and Acoustic Energy has only What Hi-Fi award

2)Dali is completely manufactured in Denmark and Acoustic energy (English design but made in China)

3)In my country Greece,Aelite 3 (AE) is 400€ cheaper than the Dali 7 Ikon MK2 which means that the second has every reason to be better..

*Also I would like you to tell me your opinion about Monitor Audio RX8 in adittion with the other two brands..

Best way is to listen for yourself. I have not heard either speaker so can't comment on which one (probably why no replies).

So which speakers did you get after all? What is your opinion about their sound?

Would anyone help me out with the choice?
I am currently in the same situation, - living in the countryside, and thinking of ordering either Dali Ikon7 MK2 or AE Aelite 3.
I have plenty of space, and no constraints regarding playing music loud.
I mostly listen to 70s Rock, but also some heavier stuff.

And you're going to get the same answer that guy got 2 years ago. I doubt anyone on here has heard both of those speakers in order to give any useful response, and even if they had speaker selection is a very subjective topic.

I agree with your point, Grador. Yet this is precisely what I would like to know, - users' subjective experiences/perceptions of the sound of these speakers.
In particular, I am aware of how my room 'sounds', I am aware of kind of music I most listen to, and of the sound I am looking for. Thus the more inputs I get from users, the more comprehensive picture I get of which speakers might best suit me. Moreover, I'm only talking about specifically these two models, not a wide range of options there is on the market.

For example, I am interested in knowing how do these speakers behave playing Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple or A Perfect Circle, in a large room, and the speakers positioned far from the walls. Certainly, if someone had the opportunity to listen to such kinds of music on any of these speakers, and would like to share his/her opinion, that would be better than no opinions at all.
