Acoustech vs other bic lines

I am ordering the acoustech line, however I was wondering how they compared to the other bic lines. I am using these speakers mainly for movies.

Well, I've never heard anything but the Acoustech line, but if youre into action movies then youll love the speakers.

Horn loaded vs. dome tweeter

Go to your local BB or CC store and listen to their Klipsch speakers. If you like the sound of the horn loaded tweeter and your primary use is for HT then you will like the Acoustech line. If you listen to mostely music, then stick with the Venturi line of speakers.

Some people like the horn loaded tweeters on Klipsch and Acoustech speakers because they are very efficient and can play loud with less amplifier power, but they are not for everybody.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Acoustech line, but I've never heard them. I own some BIC America/Venturi speakers, and they are a great value.

Man, I keep saying this:
The Acoustechs sound nothing like the Klipsch synergy speakers at BB. The entire Synergy line is JUNK. If you want something to compare the Acoustechs to, go listen to the klipsch RF-25's. That is something that will give you a good idea of what they sound like.

I don't even think one should compare the Acoustech line to the Klipsch Reference series. I had a pair of Klipsch RF-35s for a week, before selling them. I replaced them with a pair of Acoustech speakers. IMO, the Acoustech bested the Klipsch in many ways.

I have heard both lines of Klipsch - crap line and reference line.
What do I own - A 7.1 Acoustech set..... And 2 HSU VTF-3 MK2's
Best bang for the money IMO.
