ACI Force vs. Onix Rocket

I'm in the process of purchasing a sub for my HT system. Does anybody have any info. on the above referenced subs that could help in my decision process?

You should also look into Hsu, SVS, Axiom (only the EP500 and EP600), and VMPS. They all offer great products. Keep in mind that VMPS needs an external amplifier for their subs.

That ACI sub has some great specs (and better looks!). I admit to never having heard it, but sure would like to. Their other speakers have fascinated me for some time and I look forward to a time that I might afford them. They're getting rave reviews. (And I'm getting sooo infected by the upgrade bug. Wasn't somebody here looking for some mint JBL Studios a while back? )

Perhaps Craigsub will chime in with his opinion of the ACI gear, some of which he has.

Right on! Thanks for your help. I'm a little restricted with my budget hence the reason for my strong interest in the Rocket. I'm still in the building process. If I could afford it I think I would definitely go with the ACI Force but for now I don't think I can wrong with the Rocket.

Onix Rocket Sub.

I am planning on the Onix Rocket UFW-10 to mate with my Onix Reference 1 monitors. The 10" ported subs from SVS and HSU have more low end, but they are much bigger and can't match the looks of the Rocket IMO. Your music vs. movie listening should also factor into the decision.

Are you refering to the Rocket UFW-10 or UFW-12?
