Accessing a Yamaha receivers Parametric EQ.

Is it not possible to access the PEQ on a Yamaha rxv-659? All I can find is the EQ Select... either Auto PEQ or Center GEQ... And why is it called "center" GEQ? Only for the center speaker?? That doesn't make sense.
Help.

I have a comparable Yamaha HTR-5860. As you described, my receiver has an Automatic PEQ or a Manual Center EQ. It will not let you manipulate the results of the PEQ like higher end models. In my experience, the PEQ features on this and other entry level receivers are not much benefit. I leave the PEQ off and for 2 channel use the pure direct mode.

Thanks JC, Gee would it kill them to make it assessable... or usable?!

Oh right, they have to charge another hundred bucks for that 50 cent chip.
