Just trying to upgrade my theater system a little so today I traded my Pioneer vsx 512 for a Kenwood vr-405 having the darndest time trying to get my equalizer reconnected. Had no problems with the old Pioneer(guess that's why they call them Pioneers) Going to have to order the manual and the remote, but in the mean time wish I could get a little help with the reconnection process cause the inputs on the vr-405 confuse me just a little. Thanx!

Most receiver manufactures have the manuals online for download. That's a start.

Is the Kenwood a stereo receiver or an A/V surround receiver? If surround, it is problematic to connect an equalizer. The best route is usually to use the tape monitor loop and that feature went the way of the dodo a long time ago...
