I have a question about mounting the QS8s. When I looked at my mounting options with the included wall bracket, it doesn't appear that I can use banana plugs. I'm guessing that most people just use spade-lugs instead, but I wanted to check to see if anyone has another option that would allow me to use the BPs.

Thanks,
DTruth

With the supplied bracket, I don't think you'd have room for bananas. Spades...maybe. I used bare wire. You're not going to see the connection (too close to the wall) anyway.

Thanks. I was under the impression that using bare wire wasn't a good idea. Is this another fallacy that I've fallen victim to?

Generally, yes (to the victim part). Banana's are great if you are going to swap them out a lot (or for cosmetic reasons) but there is nothing wrong with bare wire.

Cool. That simplies the installation. Now to figure out what else that I've bought and don't need. :D

I have these speakers and was wondering the same thing. Personally I like the look of direct wiring to bananas anyway.
