A Wicked Little Amp on the Cheap

I just bought the neatest little amp (came last night in the latest load from UPS
)- it's called the Griffin PoweWave. This little gem is a 15/15 Watt digital amp (uses a Tripath chip) with both line, mic & USB input. It's sold mostly for computer use, but is also geared to high end live music recording.

Despite the "measley" power rating, I've got it driving a pair of JBL HLS-610's in the nearfield to near-window-rattling volumes. The power is impressive and the sound is amazing- yet this amp weighs about 8 ounces and is the size of two packs of smokes!

Best of all, the thing comes with a breakout cable for use with home speakers, a USB cable & several various mini-adapter cables all for $100 with 2 day shipping!

This is a bigtime bargain! I've only had it hooked up to my PC for a day but I'd already be lost without it.
