I currently have Yamaha's digital sound projector YSP1000 and a hi-def TV with HDMI and component inputs. The cable set box provides component input to the TV. I would like a 'clean' way to feed high-quality DVD, VCR and CD audio/video to the TV (limit number of input types).
I would like recommendations for an A/V receiver. I am not an audiophile and am confused as to what would complement the DSP. I expect power ratings are unimportant as the DSP provides power (I have a HSU subwolfer).
I thought an Audioholics recommendation on this would augment their $3000 home theater recommendations, but have not received any recommendations.
