Following are the details around my setup:
- Denon 2106
- 3 set if ceiling SpeakerCraft speakers for bedroom, family room and kitchen each (we spend too much time in kitchen)
- IR junction receivers in Family Room and Bedroom
- Old Sony DAV-C990 5.1 Digital Amplifier(plan to get rid of it some day - such a dumb decision)
- Planning to buy DSM-520 or the Linksys media receiver. ( I have a Windows Media Center PC for audio and video)
- SpeakerCraft Speaker Selector.
- Harmony 880
- TV
- VCR
I completed the wirings for speakers except one pair of ceiling speakers for the bedroom and IR Control Unit. My intention is to have the ceiling speakers play the same music, but attach the Sony system to a different zone so that I can play the dvd and TV and VCR.
What do you guys suggest will be the best setup?
