I have a Denon AVR 4308CI that throws off a lot of heat. Does anyone have experience with the Antec A/V Cooling Fan system. I saw one at Frys for $70 and was thinking about buying it. It is a full size unit that nearly covers the top of the AVR and has two fans with rear exhaust. Only problem I see is that it does not have a thermal sensor. But I can add an in line AC Thermal sensor easy enough for about $30 or I can plug it into the AC outlets in the back of the AVR and run it only when system is on. Comments?

That's such a good deal. I might get one for my Pioneer Elite receiver and Sunfire Amp. I'm not sure if I need it, but it seems like awfully cheap insurance.

I went ahead and made the purchase last night. It took about 1 minute to install the Antec Fan. The fans are very quiet and within a few minutes it cooled down the cabinet enclosure that houses my AVR 4308 and DVD player. I didn't take temperature measurements but I could feel the difference. Like itschris says, "it's cheap insurance". Don't know why I didn't do this years ago..... At $70 the Antec A/V Cooling System is a keeper.
