A/V Closet Next to Main Electric Line

I am having a first floor addition built that will be both a family room and a home theater. The electric meter and the line bringing power into the house have to be relocated. While I was out of town this week the contractor installed PVC conduit at the top of the concrete block crawl space to bring the main electric line into the house. The conduit runs directly beneath the floor of the AV closet that will house my equipment. The conduit will only be a few inches beneath the floor of that closet.

Is this a problem? The closet is on the back wall, so HDMI cable, component cable, and speaker wire will run under the floor to the front of the room where the plasma, front speakers, and sub will be. As the speaker wire and HDMI leave the AV closet they will be immediately adjacent to that conduit carrying electricity into the house.

It’s not too late to find an alternate route for the electricity into the house. Should I have that main line rerouted?

Thanks for your help.

Since you indicate you can relocate the main feed, that would be the best thing to do while you still can.
