A question about Kenwood receivers.

Did Kenwood get out of the home audio market? I checked all the usual places they would most likely be found, Crutchfield, Best Buy, Amazon, and even the Kenwood website and all I found was car audio. I had a Kenwood receiver I bought in 1991 at the PX when I was in the Army. I also bought a set of Infinity's for front and 3 Bose 101's for center and surround (I was on a budget). It was my first receiver and I bought it for the Dolby Prologic. I let my wife have in my divorce years ago, but as far as I know, according to my kid, she still has and it worked. I was just curious if the got out of home audio and why. I never thought they built the best equipment in power or features, but they seemed, atleast to me, to build durable equipment.

You pretty much answered your own question.

Unfortunately, the one positive attribute you mentioned sorta went south in later years.
