After countless hours of overtime at work I am almost complete .I am currently looking for a great stand to place everything on . Please overlook the center channel "stand" as this is a "sub" for my very first system . I know it doesn't stack up to other systems shown here but I like it .

  • -LG 42px4D
    -Harmony 880
    -motorola Dvr
    -Denon upconversion 1910-Denon 985
    -Rca 5 disc cd changer (10 % music )
    -2- Athena AS F2
    -1- Athena C.5 center
    -2- Athena S.5 sat.
    -2-Athena AS R1
    -1- Velodyne DPS 10
-Connecting all this Monster HTS 2600

Not a bad little setup you got there. You must of just bought the tv because it looks like there are still stickers on it. Looks pretty clean though. I hope you enjoy it. Happy listening.

Yes, that T.V. SCREAMS poor...

Very nice, how do you like your Athena's?

One thing, or caveat(I think, could be a typo)

I wouldput your subwoofer in a different location. I know the front and center thing is for a purpose, but I'm sure you can use something else. THe volume and extention will greatly imporve if you stick it close to any wall, even the back one.

Sheep, that's his old sub from his previous system. He now has a Velodyne DPS 10 that you can barely see off to the right.

Very nice. I can see why you are poor man. I would try to angle that center up a little bit. Unless you spent all of your money on your HT and didn't have any $$$ leftover for chairs:D

thanks for all the positive responses . I am looking for a stand or low-boy style cabniet so I don't want to invest in a center channel stand right now .

Nice loking setup there - How do you like your Monster 2600???
As far as stands, my wife and I built our own. I kept looking around and the only ones I found that I liked were $1000+ so we built one for less than $300

That's a great looking setup. I'd recommend upgrading the C.5 center channel to the AS-C1; those F2 towers are bound to drown it out at most volumes.

Thanks SilverMK3 , yes on some soundracks the c.5 struggles to keep up I am currently looking for a great deal on the c1 . Thanks as well edwelly I like the 2600 it appears to work as it should . I too have been looking at the Plasma stands and they are outrageously overpriced even on the net . I may have to have someone build me one .

Hi people I'm only new here but, I don't think it is important how much you spend on your home theatre, its how much you enjoy it.
