Anyone see a problem with a 7.1 setup using the Pioneer 1014 receiver and a 6 ohm center speaker? The other speakers are running 8 ohm.

Thanks,

Can't say for sure but . . .

The 1014 is THX rated, and someone else told me that there is a requirment to drive a 3.6 ohm speaker at rated output.

I believe the 3.6ohm requirement is a minimum. Anything higher should not hurt.

Just got the receiver on Friday. The manual even makes it known thats its not be a problem. The receiver even has a 6 ohm setup if necessary.

Thanks,
