"NEW YORK — Former NBA player Jayson Williams struck a tree with his SUV on Tuesday after veering off an exit, suffering minor injuries. Police said he may have been drinking before the crash.
Williams was in the passenger seat when officers arrived and told them someone else had been driving. But witnesses told police they saw him in the driver's seat, and officers said no one else was in the car."

Let's hope they throw the book at this lying murderer.

Would they just lock him up already this guy has had one to many chances, now it's time for him to be put behind bars. If it was Joe Schmoe he would be locked up and still sitting in prison from the first incident.

Personally I don't see how this is our business. The guy isn't even in the NBA anymore. We have a judicial system to handle these cases.

What he did was certainly stupid, but it looks like he has good lawyers. We'll see how it turns out.

He's got the best justice that money can buy.

He's rich, he's famous, he shot an old man in the chest at point-blank range killing him, tried to cover up the crime by getting others to lie for him, and got away with it. He'll skate on this one, too.

Talent is wasted on scum like this.

This is true he is no longer in the NBA but he is still a menace to society,he busted a beer mug over a guy's head in a bar here in Chicago and got away with it. The cops just let him walk because of who he was and that pattern has continued. I have a difference of opinion the judicial system has failed in dealing with this guy and with many former and current professional athletes. If your rich and famous the rules don't apply to you is how it seems.
