Hi All
Here is a little tip for positioning your center channel speaker :
Ok so you have a nice big rear projection TV or nice cabinets around your TV and now need to place your speaker on the top of the rear projector TV or your cabinetry This type of installation can cause two problems first your center speaker is now higher than your front left and right speakers and second your center speaker can resonate if placed flat
against another smooth surface. Here is how you can correct these problems at the same time.Go to your local hardware store and purchase 2 rubber pie shaped door stops (Large Type) and one package of stick on 1/8”or 1/4” square rubber feet (They are available in clear or black) cost for both under $5.Install the stick on rubber feet on the bottom of the center speaker toward the front and then place the door stops under the back of the center speaker
this will angle the front of the speaker down and also isolate resonance at the same time. Its that easy
Happy Listening
Ray
