A few quick questions (about wire and cable pants)

Ok I need some new wire for the new place. Im basicly set on ordering some BJC 12 gauge white cable for all my speakers (just order 100' and use it on all my speakers) now I want to get cable pants to clean up the look. Basicly because that cable has an outer jacket, which is fine, but I dont think it looks as nice when its striped. Almost all my terminations are out in the open so I just want to clean it up. I was planing on getting the cable pants from that website we cant post. They come in mm sizing, so I have no clue what size I need. Options are 6-11mm and 14mm. Any help is greatly aprciated.

I'd wait until you actually get the wire in, then measure to get the right ones. I ordered some off of PE and when I got them, they were just a tiny bit too small....

Well I shot BJC an E-Mail, they say that the outer part is just slightly over 6mm and that each inner wire is 3mm. So would you think do 6mm and fight them on, or get 7mm and have them a lil sloppy? BTW how did you like the ones from PE? What wire did you put them on, and do you have any pics?

(note the BJC locking bananas too ) These particular pants fit fine, but the second set I ordered were a little smaller and I had to squeeze them on. Sorry, no other pic of the cable itself and I won't get home from work until pretty late tonight, but I had to squeeze them on pretty well to get them to fit. I would think a little tight would be better from a strain relief standpoint, but if you are just after looks, loose would probably be OK. You can also do shrink wrap - it doesn't look quite as good, but it doesn't look bad either.
