A case of "I hadn't heard that before"

With my new receiver, I'm hearing the most annoying sound. While watching Jeopardy, I can hear Trabec crossing off something on his note cards after every question. Talk about resolution...LOL!!! Now if only I could make it stop. I just want to watch Jeopardy.

Try not playing sound through your receiver. Just use the TV.
I only turn on the HT when we watch movies.
I don't like to put on all that equipment, just to watch the news.

maybe for some,but i dont like to turn the tv volume up to an annoying level and strain just to hear the news. As for powering up, my 2ch stays on 24/7 for the past 13-14 years with the exception of the summer storms and wilma.

It was more of a joke than anything. I love using my receiver to listen to anything I watch. I just thought it was hilarious that I can hear him crossing things off his note cards. It is annoying, but I'll deal.
