9.1 on 7.1 receiver

ok i have yamaha htr-5990 w/7.1 set up plus two speakers wired into the front B terminals will that drain power from front A or is this in anyway bad for the receiver its sort of 9.1

Since there is no active steering applied to the extra speakers, it is by no stretch of the imagination "like 9.1" This is equivalent to using four speakers with a stereo receiver and saying it is "like surround".
