$800 US limit

I am looking for a new DVD player that has great audio quality, and also upconverts via DVI/HDMI. Any suggestions would be great. I am initially looking at the Marantz DV7600, Denon 2910, and Possibly a Pioneer Elite if I can find the right prices. Does anyone here have any preferences, or maybe other ideas in this price?

If I had that kind of money to spend on a player... I would choose the Denon. The only thing that you might want to consider is the HDDVD and Blue Ray revolution and save the money for a player to support high def format.

Elite 59avi

You can buy a Pioneer Elite 59avi for the same price as a Denon 2910; I had both and think the the Pioneer Elite was much beter at audio and also does not have the video problems the Denon has with some displays.

I thought the audio would be better on the elite, but what are the problems with the video on the denon?
