ok so i got a question, i have a 8 ohm receiver 5.1 and a 4 ohm 2 way crossover, along with 2 6 inch woofer, an 2 tweeters also 4 ohm, if i wire the woofers in series to 8 ohm an the tweeters to 8 ohm loads to the 4 ohm crossover, then connect the receiver 8 ohm output to the 4 ohm crossover input, would it act as if i had a normal 8 ohm load or sound like trash because the crossover is for 4 ohm .

Your crossover technically does not have an impedance, only the speakers connected to it do, and impedance varies with frequency. So unless you can measure the results, you have no idea what you are going to get by doing this. Since it is a 2-way x-over, I'd start with just 2 drivers and see how it goes, but again, without measuring the result, you won't really know if that crossover works right for those drivers.

If you change the impedance of the speakers, the crossover frequency will change drastically. The inductors need to double in value and the capacitors halve in value.
