Would appreciate any advice available...
I have the Sharp XV-Z9000U projector, looking to feed htpc signals (INCLUDING internal DVD) to the VGA input. Reason for not wanting to use the component dongle...blue screen when attempting to display DVD content...
I have a radeon 9800 with the VGA out, but it won't let me display 1280x720 at 60Hz...or rather, it will, but the projector sees 800x600, and I have to pan left, right, up, down to scroll to the complete image size when viewing from the 800x600 window...
I can force the projector to 1280x720, but I see a wriggling red/white/blue/black bar underneath the image (clearly not acceptable for any kind of casual viewing). I've tried powerstrip...using 60 HZ, using 57 HZ, etc...but to no avail...
...has anyone experienced similar effects???
