I have been given 8 JBL 25T speakers and 2 JBL 18ST subs, understand that they came out of a defunct store and I was wondering if they can be used in a standard surround system? They are a 70.7/100v speaker which can be tapped at 3.7w, 7.5w, 15w, or 30w. Can I bypass they're xformer so that I don't need a special amp or are they not worth it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
