7.2 output from a 5.1 source

Does anyone know of a 7.2 HT receiver that will output sound to the back left and back right speakers in a 7.2 setup from a 5.1 source like a Blu-ray disc?

No need to ask in multiple forums. Once is plenty.

ALL systems that support 7.1 can do what you're asking via DPLIIz or similar post processing.

Yep, Dolby PLIIx/PLIIz, DTS Neo:X, Audyssey DSX all can matrix to 7.1 from even 2.0 (depending what your 7ch setup is as for rear surround/front height/front wide)
