7.1 Setup Help...Going Crazy

Had a real quick question, I have a yamaha 2500 right now and am getting ready to add some Mordaunt Short Speakers. The question is what style speakers should I put for the REAR and the SIDE speakers.

Here is the seup so far
Yamaha 2500

Center: Mordaunt - Short Avant 905C

Front: Mordaunt - Short Avant 908

SUB: Mordaunt - Short Avant 907

Now the real question is right here. For the surrounds Rear and Side, should I stick with the same 4 speakers the Mordaunt - Short Avant 903S.

Or should I switch it up and have a different style in the rear or side.

The front three really need to be timbre/voice matched and it appears that you have that part down. The surrounds and surround backs usually/most likely/almost always/99.99999% of the time handle effects. Therefore, they can be anything you like from supper expensive that you must show off to the old prewired lafayette all in one you or your father had as a kid (as long as they still work).

Have a listen to the 903S and see what you think about them, if you're happy with them, use 'em cause they're made for surrounds.

Just curious to know if you've heard these yet. I love the styling of the Avants and Audioholics' review on them seem impressive enough, but I have yet to find any additional feedback on these.

This is an old thread but was curious how the Mordaunt Shorts worked out. I'm having trouble finding feedback on 'em. I've seen some good sales at Wildwest Electronics and Accessories 4 Less (<a href=http://www.accessories4less.com/cgi-bin/item/MORDAV908MPL>Avant 908 $800</a>)
