Good day to u all. Does it make sense to set up a 7.1 system in an 11' * 14' room or do i stick with the 5.1 because its too small? Does 7.1 make sense at all since i now watch movies 40% of the time?
Next thing; can i pair 2 speakers for both my surround left and right at right angles i.e facing across the room and towards the front of the room?
jbl stadiums- front
infinity- center
jbl n28ii surrounds and..
recently got a pair of energy c-r3
Whats the best setup combo here? thanx

As long as you don't sit against the wall, I would say you could do 7.1 in there if you wanted. I would put the C-R3s along side the listening position and the N28s in the back. If you do sit against the wall, I'd skip 7.1 personally.

well i do sit against the side wall and just about 2 feet from the rear wall. i do not have the space to put them to the rear. I have the n28s mounted about 5.5 feet on the wall just behind the listening positions and angled forward. I was thinking i could mount the energys just in front facing across the room.
Tell me what to do garcia.
