I have just purchased a Yahama C920 DVD changer that has DVD-audio. I am using a Denon 2802 as my receiver.
In order to get DVD-audio, I have to use the 6 channel analog input from the DVD player to the receiver. I was testing the analog input for the DTS and DD, and I could not hear a discernable difference when switching to the ditigal input. Should I be hearing a difference?
I was told by the salesperson that the DTS and DD decoders in the receiver are usually better than those found in DVD players. Is this true? Which is better, 6 channel analog or the digital?
Thanks in advance.
