Just thought I'd post this so that some of you guys looking for a TV could have a look. Even if you bid $850 you can get it for a grand and save $1500. Only 90 day warranty though. 52" TOshiba at UBID

Heck of a deal, but I'm not 100% sold on DLP. Do you have a DLP tv? If so, how do you like it? I was looking at the 32" and 37" flat screen LCD's. They would fit my living room wall perfectly. They've come down to the $1000 - $1500 range. Plasma - I've seen so many burn in problems that even the new technology scares me. But if you like plasma, also check this out:

Comp USA had this flat screen LCD last week for under $1300:

I have a 27" rca crt that I've had since I was 19 or 20. My TV upgrade has to wait till the new house. I don't have room for anything bigger, I'm only about 8 feet away from the RCA as is. I'm honestly undecided on what new format is going to settle in as being commonly accepted amongst TVs. Sony's RPLCD's look really nice, but then you see that $10,000 Pioneer Plasma and wonder how long till that trickles down into my price range? What I'd love is a front projector, but I just can't picture watching regular TV on one for some reason. Imagine an 8 foot tall Homer.

I'm waiting for the true LCD's to come down into my price range. For me, there is NOTHING finer than an 30-37 inch HD LCD picture. I think it beats plasma hands down.

I just bought an RPLCD, so in about five years when the price is way down on the LCD Im goin for it!
