Rented this one the other day while we were both sick. It was quite good actually. It does look a little chick-flick, but it doesn't turn into drivel. I was happy that it did not turn out the way one would expect based on the way it is marketed. Zooey is featured prominently it would seem, as it sounded like there was a lot of music in the background that was hers, even when the two of them are sitting in the car. I am not sure it is her, but it sure sounded like her, which is funny in its own way. Worth a look recommended rental.

I found it pretty good too. I got to say that it was hard for me to watch at some point since something similar happened to me about a year ago.

The actors are excellent and the sound/music is pretty good too. About that song, the one when they're in the car, it is not Zooey Deschanels, but Carla Bruni (Sarkozy's wife )

Definitly worth a look.

A good buddy of mine went through something nearly identical to that movie, so it wasn't quite the funniest thing to me. I still thought it was a good movie.

It may have been a chick flick, but I think a lot of guys have been dragged through something like this. Also, it's so easy to get a major crush on Zooey Deschanel, that the movie seems like personal experience. I usually don't like these sort of movies, but this was pretty good.

I looked at this for my flix-queue but I chose not to add it. I always have a few chick/flicks in the QUEUE for the Mrs. and I to watch together, but this one looked really bad so I took a pass. I may reconsider.....

We saw this with another couple and we all liked it. After the movie they all seemed to want to discuss women who pulled stuff like that. I thought it was a fun movie that touched on the basic human condition of wanting to be wanted and fear of rejection. The going to the kid sister instead of a shrink was refreshing. Seeking advice from family is cool ... unless you have my family. My family is crazy.
