How about 500 Days of Summer. I relented after a couple weeks of action movies and let my wife choose. This broken-romance movie is really quite good. The characters and plot are completely believable. Zooey Deschanel was her usual completely adorable self and Joseph Gordon Levitt was quite good as the dumped lover, going through the stages of break-up. This movie was good enough to be an instructional manual on how to survive a break-up you didn't initiate.
