I'm looking into building a better audio system for my TV room. I'm currently using some old onkyo 5.1 speaker on a newer Pioneer amp (i don't know the model number off the top of my head
). The room is 19'x12'. The tv is a 70" sharp set up on the 12' wall and two rows of 3 recyliners (stadium seating but both rows are same level). First row is 6' from the tv with the 2nd row being an additional 5' away. Right now I've got this setup in mind for a max $1500 budget...
Sub - BIC Acoustech PL-200 $329
Center - Polk Audio CSI A6 $340
Shelf - Polk Audio RTi A3 $340
Surround - Polk Audio F/Xi A6 $424
For my room size is the A6 necessary or will the A4 do for surround and center. Or is the A6 just better overall? Any other speaker suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am a noob when it comes to audio....I almost bought a bose system
