5.1/Atmos music streaming volumes

I was pretty jazzed about Atmos music, not because of the way it was marketed to headphones which we all know is ridiculous but for us home theater guys with good setups.
I am an Amazon music guy but saw Apple music has Atmos music already for the app on streaming services like Fire TV devices so I signed up oh 6 months or more ago for a few trial just to see how Atmos music on a home theater would sound. Now I'm only doing the old school 5.2 so it would be down mixed to 5.1 obviously but the sound/mix was ok to good but man I had to crank the sound to get it to the volume I'm used to listening. I cancelled because I hate Apple.
Now Amazon music just added Atmos music to their app on my Fire Cube. Same thing, I have to crank it to hear it at the volume I'm used to.
The music that I have listened to is music I also have on DTS CD which is my comparison volume wise. A DTS CD I can listen to at -25 but the same volume streaming is more like -15 or lower.
What would the reason for that be? Does that make any sense and sorry for the long ass post?

this seemed to help my son and law

Why is my Amazon Fire TV volume so low?

Press and hold the Home button on the Fire TV remote for 5 seconds. If your remote has a Settings button press that instead. Select Sound. Change the sliders and options to your preferred settings.
