5.1 and HD from Browser (Preferably Mac)

I've done some searching, and I haven't found where there is yet a solution that allows this.
I also note that most browsers don't support HD yet, is my take on this correct?
Does anyone know of a browser based solution, preferably Mac, that supports 5.1 sound and HD streaming?
If not, what is the best solution that has Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Instant Video? e.g. Roku, etc.

Not sure if you could EVER get 5.1 surround from any PC or MAC browser.
as for other solution Instead of Roku, I prefer Amazon Fire TV Stick - it has much more power than Roku and capable running XBMC/Kodi natively (very easy one time side-load)

Yeah, you will not get 5.1 from any browser on any operating system.
And I second the Amazon Fire TV stick recommendation. It will do everything you need for only $39.

The signal is still stereo. It's not DD5.1 or DTS5.1.
