Maybe they will let Joseph Kosinski make TRON movies, especially now that he has done TG-Maverick and F1.

As much as I like JK as a director, I don't want him to be used for everything. Great Directors must be "choosy" with their projects. So, I'm fine if he turns down movies and then is able to focus on one massive project at a time. Like Denis V. has for his Dune franchise. If Top Gun 3 is actually a go, I would love for JK to come back and Direct. He did a great job with 2 and would do another amazing job if a third one is to happen.

I don't think Leto was part of the problem, at least not its biggest problem. The not so earth shattering story combined with low advertising doesn't help the fact that it has been 43 years since the original that this one ties back to.

I started watching the Ed Gein story on Netflix. Pretty interesting. He is so messed up, he is the source of MANY horror books and films. Notably: Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Silence of the Lambs.

I watched the Ed Gein thing. That guy was MENTUHL!!!!! I know they added some Hollywood to it but still. Nuts. Charlie Hunnamm was excess usual.
I agree with your point about the time span between tron films. To me, films in a franchise have to be somewhat close in release so they stay relevant. Some franchises have done ok with long spacing, but others…..

Finally watched Weapons last night. My 4k still has not shown up. Amazon say's it's coming in December!! So that's frustrating. Thankfully HBOMax just added it to their library. I really liked this movie. Had a good amount of creep factor to it. I liked how it jumped from character to character. I don't want to say much, but if you haven't seen it, I would highly recommend it. Solid 8/10 from me.

BOTH of my Tron 4ks are delayed. They both show Dec. now. I noticed on ebay there are people showing boxes of them and selling them for 2x the price. So like the PS5 when it came out, we have to deal with scalpers buying up media?

Preordered The Killer 4K and Hard Boiled 4K steelbooks. We'll see how that goes...
