The multimedia capabilities of the 4306 should keep me contained for some time but I'm thinking of adding some power. The Emotiva Mps-1 7channel amp appears to be a great value. Are there any other multichannels out there I should be considering? The emotiva has a great price point, but if a little extra goes a long ways, I'm all ears, so suggestions are welcome.

Do you have a problem with what you have?
What speakers are you driving now, impedance and sensitivity, or are you planning on getting different speakers?

You also might want to look at the Rotel RMB-1095 :)

Outlaw Audio makes several amps that have received some high praise. However, I can't vouch for them personally, as I've had no experience with their products. I believe they offer thirty day, 100% money back, free shipping returns, so you can always order one and test it out to see if you like it or not.

My only problem is a persistent upgrade bug. I'm not driving large speakers, they are Artison's Portrait and Sketch. Sensitivity is 89dB @ 2.83 Volts, 1 Meter. All bass is handled by my Velodyne. Maybe I wouldn't get much mileage out of the power with small speakers?

If those speakers are 8 ohms, I seriously doubt you have an issue unless you have a big room and listen at very loud levels all the time.
HT software just doesn't drive all channels to full power at the same instant that may cause amp issues.
I would fight that bug and look elsewhere. If you are into video, that is a fertile area with HD movies now available and the universal player issue soon to be resolved.
