42 inch - Plasma, DLP or LCD RPTV

I am looking for a 42 inch TV under $3000. What's my best option, a Plasma, DLP or Rear Project LCD. Any brand/model recommendations?

You can't go wrong with that model, plus you can probably get one for between $2600-$2999

You can find a lot better within that general price range. Go for the Hitachi 42HDS52, much better pic quality, higher resolution, two HDMI inputs not one, and better design. also swivel stand if you are not wall mounting it. You should be able to find one for about the same price, maybe 100 USD more.
