Looking for a 40 inch or less Plasma/LCD for my bedroom. Relatively small bedroom 15x15. Watch a lot of sports/National Geographic/Science Channels. I also have a ton of movies on my computer that I would like to view on the TV.

whats your budget? and they will be 42" class
im trying to keep it at 1000 or less. I am looking at the Panny G10s. What else is out there that is comparable to it?

Would it be safe to order over the internet? How is shipping on large items like tvs? I am a little paranoid about the delivery guy damaging the tv.

The G series is nice but you may have to drop down to the S series for pricing under 1K. There are some that order over the net but you shouldn't have a problem buying locally either. The pannys are the way to go.

Are the G15s and G10s identical in performance? the only difference is their depth? The G15 being 2.1 inch versus the 4 inch g10?

Let me google that for you.

"G15 has extra HDMI, Viera Cast and DLNA access, plays divx from the SD card, thinner 2" thick frame, V Surround Pro."

So, the answers to your questions appear to be:

1. Yes

2. No

3. I guess so
