What are the differences (sound and performance perspective) among the 4 ohms, 6 ohms, and 8 ohms speakers?

If the answer requires a lengthy dissertation, can you please forward me a primer on speakers that discuss among other things, this topic.

Apart from 4 ohms being a difficult load for certain amps, there is no sonic attributes to different loads. You do gain the benefit of more power delivered to your speakers( compared to 8ohms ) when you are using 4ohms speakers provided your driving amp has the ability to do so.
