I was looking at the center channel and main offerings from Magneplan. These speakers are all 4 ohm rated. I am currently running 8 ohm rated speakers (various makes) from my Yamaha RX-V 2500. Does this amp have enough quality power to run these.

No. Most receivers are not designed for 4-ohm speakers. If they were more sensitive, you might be able to get away with it, but Magnepans are power hogs and will require an external amp.

Your issue is not only that it is 4 Ohms but that is a nominal with much lower impedance in the bands. That can be difficult on many amps, especially when you have sensitivity issues as was mentioned above, loud listening levels, etc.

Get some second hand dedicated amps to power those planars.
