Hello Audioholics

i was wondering i have Pioneer SX-20 amp
http://www.pioneer-audiovisual.eu/eu/def/products/sx-20

And i only have 2 front floorstanding speakers from xtz
http://www.xtz.se/product/95-44

Now since i have a extra money i wonder should i get Two more of these floorstander's for the second channel and have 4 front speakers?

or should i bi amp the first pair?

or just get speakers to a second room instead?

thinking it might be overkill with 4 fronts (but damn sexy)

Any advice for me?

Thx and be well!

Why would you want 4 front speakers? Totally not necessary. Are you happy with your speakers? If so, I would upgrade the amp or the source (ie....Cd / BD player). If not, A speaker upgrade.

Bi-amping will give you nothing, so I would rule that out. 4 front speakers would mess up the stereo image so it is not worth the "upgrade" there either.

If you want to upgrade I would look for good subwoofer. What is your budget and room size? Any size limitations?

As was said, the biggest improvememt would come from a good subwoofer.

Hello Audioholics...

Firstly, what seems to be the problem? How much $$$ do you have saved for audio?
Then we can discuss recommendations properly

We are good at spending your money! We just like to see you get the most benefit to your system, in your space when we do.

How big is your space?
What do you like to do with your system, is it just music?

Since you don't mention a subwoofer, many here have already suggested that may be the thing your sustem is lacking the most. Your Pioneer doesn't have a specific pre-amp output for a subwoofer, so I'll leave to the experts to dissect the best way to integrate one. Which you choose depends upon what kind of music you listen to, how loud you like it, the size of your room, and your budget for one.

Its gonna be a movie/gaming room wich will play a good mix of music budget would be around 600€

And the room is 3m wide 4m long

Wanted to make a really awesome stereo setup since the amp don't have 5.1 or 7.1 capabilities.
Also live at top floor so neighbour might not like a thundering bass shaking the entire roof that's why we wanted to skip a sub and got with stereo.

Thx for feedback
