Hello All,
I wanted to start a new thread and first Thank everyone who has helped me with input so far loving my new setup. I also wanted to give a quick warning and take this with a grain of salt if you like as I am a noobie but I had two acoustic energy subs from A4L that I sent back to them that they claim were just fine. I even sent them a video and ran through all the tests they asked me to do of the last one and it was still not working. I just got my Acoustech PL-200 plugged it in and its working flawlessly right out of the box. I had also tested a Klipsch sub on my system which worked. I also tried the Acoustic Energy sub on another receiver and it didnt work. Needless to say, I am a noobie but I do have common sense and A4L is really giving me a hard time right now. I dont even know how to deal with them, if anyone has advice, would love it.
My setup:
Denon 890AVR
Pioneer SPFS52
Pioneer SPBS22
BIC PL-200 Acoustech
My main questions here are about the hz and crossover and all that jazz. Can anyone help me with the setup on the amplifier and sub? Right now on the amplifier is set to yes for the subwoofer and the front and back are set to small with surrounds off. Everyone is on 80hz. Not sure exactly what it should be at?
