I finally got my latest speaker purchase set up in the great room. I swapped out a pair of PSB-600 for a pair of PSB-1000, their top speaker in that series. It went from this

Visually, I'm definitely liking the new larger speakers more. They feel more balanced with the space in the room in the pics. Do you find they are more "room filling" or otherwise audibly improved over the smaller models? You're running subs so the typically bottom end potential of larger speakers probably isn't as apparent as without.

I've also created this spread sheet to help me track this as I regularly swap out the speakers in the great room only.

I ordered new swivel glider recliners for the great room and through the old chewed up leather ones out.

The flap part the bottom of the lower left chair is smooth now.

I purchased PSB Dolby Atmos speakers a couple of weeks ago and watched a few ATMOS flicks and they do make themselves known as the sound field is more expansive in the verticle plane

Interesting. I have 4 of the upfiring speakers from Pioneer and they don't really do much of anything compared to my theater. I may have to see if there's a way to get them closer to the ceiling.

My ceiling is ~20ft vaulted and it works for me. Fronts I have angled back towards the wall. I used something like MoPads to angle them slightly flatter in the rears, and calibrated them a bit hot. Gives a nice spacious sound.
