Xbox 360 Surround Sound need help

Hey everyone,

I have an xbox 360 going to a reciver with HD component cables and and optical cable to a Sony reciver in component video jacks SAT and OPT input SAT . I then have HD component cables going from Monitor Out to my HD tv into component video. I can get video but no sound..any advice?

Make sure your input is set to optical in the set up menu.
