I am planning to buy a blu ray player has WIFI and Netflix capabilities right out of the box. Do you have any personal experience with any players that can do both? Any recommendation?
Budget is 350$.
Thanks a bunch to whoever helps.
So far I found:
LG BD390 - 379$ at Best Buy - a bit over the budget
Samsung BD-P3600 - 349$ - right on the money

I have no personal experience with it, but the LG 390 seems like one to consider.

Here is the AH review of that unit.

It is currently selling for $306 at Amazon.com.

EDIT: Ahhh, from your edit, I see that you are aware of that model. Check out Amazon, as their price puts it into contention.

NetFlix/Xbox Live

If by chance you have an Xbox 360 you can stream NetFlix over that. The 360 has a wireless adapter (which admittedly I've heard mixed reviews of) and Xbox Live members can stream NetFlix.

I've streamed HD content to my 360 before without issue but I used a wired connection. I've not tried wireless.

So IF you have a 360 and IF you plan to look into on-line gaming (via Xbox Live) ... you may not need a blu-ray "with all the fixin's" so-to-speak.

That's a lot of IF's and MAY's ... but I wanted to point out the option is there for those who have the Xbox 360.

Well, I belong to the Wii church - I have no Xbox but thanks for the suggestion

You're welcome. I have the Wii as well. It's great for the kids and I like a couple on it as well. But my NES (yes, that old clunker) is my true pride and joy!!!!!! Good luck with Netflix. The last time I used it their streaming catalog was rather limited IMHO  but I always liked their mail service. :D

Netflix's selection of streaming shows has increased a lot since I started using it. They have some good choices now. Certainly not as vast as the physical media, but respectable, IMO.

I would go with the LG. It is within your budget and I don't think you will find anything cheaper that can beat it. I'm actually considering getting the LG myself. I will sell my current BD player (PS3) as I don't really use it to game at all.

That's true - their selection is nothing to write home about BUT it is convenient and they are increasing their online collection...

If u don't mind ebay there is a seller who claims to b authorized selling the 390 for $299/free ship. If you go to www.bing.com and sign up u might be eligible for 12% cash back as well on your purchase. Just put LG in search field; then click on the ebay link.... it will take u to ebay. Check around on bing for other sellers who might offer cash back as well on this item.

I recently bought the Samsung. I already had a Roku box and the Samsung Netlix streaming is excellent. The Pandora add-on is good as well and I understand they'll be adding Blockbuster PPV soon. I'm very satisfied with the unit so far.

The only problem is that none of these stream from Netflix in HD. But I hear it is in the works. You might consider waiting.

Believe it or not am I really impatient BUT lately I learned to wait because ... I don't have the money
So I am still waiting - probably by Christmas if Santa still loves me I am buying my blu ray player ...
