originally i had a onkyo 7.2 system, my receiver went out, i went and bought a sony 5.2, then my onkyo woofer blew. since then i bought a set of pioneer towers, some signature series to provide a little bass.

now i can't stand not havinga woofer... so that's why i made this thread. just looking for something adequate, i realize 300 won't get me am amazing sub maybe just sub par but it's better then no sub ,but of coursei want the best i can get for the money, quality, sound etc.

You may get some other suggestions, but if you don't have WAF concerns, I'd consider a pair of the SUB-1200's the best sound quality you will get for $300 (or $277 to get specific).
It may seem counter-intuitive, but these inexpensive subs are well designed and offer a lot of performance at a price that affords you two. I don't know of a sub that is a better performer for under $300 apiece!

PS - NewEgg sells one made by NGX for $160/ea. It looks nicer and has equivalent performance when it works, but 42% of the reviews on NewEgg rate it at one star, so I cannot recommend it.

I certainly appreciate your suggestions and I'll take it into mind I was actually looking at those dating so but wasn't sure because they were so cheap but now that I've been on the forums I see a lot of great reviews about them and you think that two of those will fill up my room and pressurizer nicely
