I'm new to this forum, just this afternoon.
I'm debating finally buying an HDTV, but I'm wondering about 3-D TV in the future, keeping in mind that a standard has not been agreed upon by the industry yet. So, for 3-D TV at home, it's going to be all new equipment when this technology becomes available? A 3-D capable TV, a 3-D capable Blu-ray DVD player, in other words, if I buy an HDTV and a Blu-ray DVD player now, any future 3-D technology won't work with this equipment?
