Currently own a TCA gizmo, but curious what other similar but higher quality simple 2ch+subwoofer-out amps exist?

I am waiting for the Emotiva USP-1 to come back in stock (and possibly go on sale:rolleyes:). If you want to try separates, it has a sub-out with adjustable crossover. Of course, you would have to buy a separate amp (I'm using a UPA-2.)

The HK3490 has a sub-out. It sends a full range signal to the sub, so you would have to use the sub's crossover to limit it. I have one of the previous 3480's in a bedroom set and I have been very happy with the sound quality. The remote is a cheap piece of junk.

HK gets overlooked when it comes to quality 2 channel audio but the 3480 and 3490 are great stereo receivers. I've had a 3480 - and currently have the 3390. Great sound quality and plenty of power for all but the most power hungry speakers. The new remotes are a bit better than the 3480 remote - and you can actually read the lettering!
