2807, V2600, or LMC/LPA-1???

Decisions, decisions. I'm narrowed down to the following I believe:

Denon 2807
Yamaha V2600
Emotiva LMC/LPA-1 combo

My biggest concern is set-up actually. Do the auto-eq features from Denon and Yamaha have any weight into not picking the Emotiva stack? I do have a difficult room acousticlly and worry I may not be able to setup the Emotiva to showcase it abilities.

Setup can be done easily with an SPL meter and a test DVD.

Don't buy a system on the basis of its own "auto setup" feature. You don't need that.

I have to disagree.
While the auto-set-up in the Yamaha and Denon receivers can be arguably dismissed. I personally find the lack of manual internal EQing in the Emo processors to be a turn-off.
Not to dis the Emo products. I love my LPA-1. This is my only complaint about the Emo line thus far.

Parametric.

The Denon and Yamaha receivers have HDMI, a factor to be considered. The Emotiva offers a switcher, but that is all it does. Since it is external it is limited in functionality.

I am happy with my 3806 and would not switch to a Emotiva LMC/LPA-1 combo if given the choice. What I am saying is, that for me, I do not find anything lacking in the 3806 and that the Auto setup and EQ to work well. That said, the manual is poor and ease of use a pain at first. If ever I need more power I can add one or two of the Behringer(sp?) amps, but that is not the case with my current setup.
